A common question we get is: What happens to the waste once DT Bins collects it? The answer varies based on the type of debris.

At DT Bins, we are committed to eco-friendly waste disposal. We carefully sort recyclable materials—such as paper, wood, metal, concrete, plastic, electronics, and computer equipment—from the rest of the debris. These recyclables are processed appropriately, and only the remaining waste is taken to the landfill. We take pride in doing our part for a greener, cleaner environment.

Our Service Areas

Regular Service Area:
We offersame-day service (if feasible)for much of the Durham Region & GTA. This includes Scarborough, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, North York, Forest Hill, Yorkville, Oshawa, and the downtown core east of Bathurst Street.

Extended Service Area:
For areas as far east as Whitby, north above Highway 7, and west to Highway 427—including Oshawa, Whitby, Richmond Hill, Markham, Thornhill, and Etobicoke—there will be an additional $35 fee applied to your quote.

Things To Know

All our bins come equipped with rear doors and a convenient walk-in height of approximately 8 inches when opened, making loading easy. To protect your driveway or loading surface, we deliver all bins on wood. However, please note that if the surface is old, cracked, or in poor condition, some damage may still occur. For commercial or industrial applications, wood protection is also available upon request. Have questions or need assistance? What size bins do you have?

At DT Bins, we provide a variety of bin sizes to suit any project. Our options range from 5 to 40 yards, ensuring we have the right size for everything from small residential cleanups to large commercial construction jobs.

Can the bin be put on the road?

When placing a bin, it’s important to follow local regulations. In the Durham Region and GTA, bins can be placed on the road, but only with the proper permits from the city, and safety pylons must be positioned around the bin. Without a permit, the bin must be placed on private property, such as a driveway or front lawn.

How long can I keep the bin for?

Need the dumpster for more than a few days or a week? We understand that some projects take longer than others, and you may require the bin for an extended period.
